Let's be honest here. If he doesn't want to pay for a reasonable date, doesn't want to buy you flowers, etc., then it's safe to assume: 1) he's running through a lot of women, 2) he's broke or stingy, or 3) you're out of his league, so you don't agree on what is "reasonable".
There's a span, but if he's balking at paying for coffee or some nice pasta, he's probably in too deep.

90% of men can't keep up with inflation. So I guess westerners will just stop reproducing. Which is exactly what's happening. Women can say that it's mens' problem, but it affects us all.
If he can't keep up with inflation, how does he plan on feeding a family? You think dinner out is expensive? Try to feed teenagers. π€·ββοΈ
Well, that's more asynchronous.
So I guess most of us just die alone.
The coffee shop thing. You weren't ordering together. He wasn't even there.
Not most, since most men are already married, but a lot. Up to a third. Unless the economics changes rapidly, that is, perhaps through harder money.
That's fine.

I keep up with inflation, but can only afford one wife.
One is more than enough.
Besides, you have to do some mate-guarding and If you had more than one, then they might wander off in different directions and that would be tricky.
He should have been happy you hadn't already left. π€£
My husband tells me this. π€£ Says polygamists are insane because one wife is more than enough.
π― Mallory's way nicer than me.
This, right there.
