I don't even know what the fluoride in water does, and at this point I'm too afraid to ask. I still filter it out though.
So hard to know anything for sure 😩

It's good for teeth topically. I don't buy that it is good to ingest though. I use it in toothpaste and filter my water. I could be wrong, but I'm too skeptical of what it could be doing to other parts of the body. Better for us to just skip it.
Too much is hardly definable from what I've seen. And most municipalities use varying levels in water. I couldn't find a universal dosing standard last I checked. It seemed like they just noticed it was good when absorbed by teeth and concluded that it should be thrown into drinking water, testing be damned. Open to being corrected.

Andrew Huberman has a few episodes on flouride. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4kOa8pxN5Y https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-x2rbkEjjsU
Seems to be a common theme among these responses. Some kind of negative effects on developing brains. Intentional or not, who knows.
