Trick is just to let the thoughts and images come and go, just don't focus on them.
afaik some people are just like this. I was shocked to learn that people have a voice in their head.

I really struggle to get in a zen zone with meditation. My mind’s so active all the time. I can’t just observe my thoughts.
Start with guided meditations and make sure to plan to spend this time alone in a quiet room. If you do it consistently it shouldn’t take more than 40 days for ur mind to get used to it ⚪️🕊️
I tried Calm for guided ones. When I was drifting (to sleep, which is equally bad), the speaker cutting in would be like a jolt. I’ll look for others though, the idea it can be done in 40 days is appealing. And everyone who can mediate is very vocal about the benefits.
What I know from my own journey that ppl with high iq, adhd, dyslexia, etc, tend to overthink more than others. Sometimes it also comes from anxieties, the daily stress and rapid changes the world is witnessing everyday. But whatever it is I am positive you can reach a zen zone by practice ⚪️🕊️ and it gets addictive and beautiful by time 😊 it’s real existence
