Yeah, I had an e-mail pen pal.
Way before. First IT job in 1998, when they were starting up Google. Testing medical systems for the Y2K rollover.
I had a beeper. 😂
It was. Amazing how good it was. We didn't know how good we had it because it just seemed normal.
