#pickstr I can't pick this thing. I cleaned it and now it's somehow the most precisely-built lock the world has ever seen. I've tried everything. I used a bunch of picks and tensioners, a burnt potholder, a multi-color ink pen, two other picked locks, a fake Dupont lighter, a 1 oz. silver bar, a AAA battery holder, some tangerine lip balm, Nintendo games, a 2.7V 10F capacitor, an empty American 1100 box, and a rubber maggot. Nothing has worked.

Yeah, our kid has a bunch of fake gross stuff so there are maggots and vomit and poop everywhere. I always suggest this: https://covertinstruments.com/products/learn-lockpicking-bundle Or this: https://covertinstruments.com/products/genesis-lock-pick The aforementioned kid can open enough stuff with that kit that I keep Abloy cores around for locking important things.

Yeah, disc detainer is crazy. Rear-tension DD picks are basically homemade and like 500 bucks. I have a nice Abus DD that is not really pickable without special tooling. And now I'm reflecting on how I have very few locks that actually get used to lock things...

Hmmmm...all of them? 😂 They're all different. Usually 5 to 7 pins, different depths. Some of mine are pinned to be hard to pick. High next to low, stuff like that. I don't know the exact cut depth most of the time, but a Lishi tool can tell you. You could pick one with that and then cut a key for next time. Then you're getting into the realm of red team pen testing stuff. That machine you have there would make you VERY popular with that crowd.
