"Why doesn't anywhere actually TAKE BITCOIN AS PAYMENT?!?"
I'm going to fix this by starting a Bitcoin-only payments platform in the US (setting up online merchants with sovereign payment infrastructure) with the goal of onboarding as many merchants as possible. And we need your help. We are initially focusing on industries that have particular difficulty accessing banking and payment infrastructure. For example, adult sites. CC companies charge 3-5%, Bitcoin lightning charges less than 1%. The time is now! We arbitrage the difference in setting up non-custodial payment solutions for clients.
Potential roles in this company to be filled:
- A web developer to help with making the promotional/company sites (backend/payment infrastructure is using entirely OSS stack like BTCPay Server, so that code is already done, and we have a sysadmin on the team).
- Somebody with experience in compliance
- Somebody with experience in sales, this is a position that would involve travel, going to conferences, etc.
- All these positions are open for remote workers, we are a distributed organization.
