What’s the longest you can quiet your mind? 🧘🏻♀️ I am in need of a deep meditation session 🟣

Moments at a time, but hours on the cushion. Ichigio Zammai “one practice concentration”.

And images?

Usually that’s a skill achieved after months of meditation practice. Good for you. I highly recommend ZEN.

Trick is just to let the thoughts and images come and go, just don't focus on them.
afaik some people are just like this. I was shocked to learn that people have a voice in their head.

I agree. I practice yoga and meditation daily to attempt to quiet the mind. It helps, but it’s near impossible to fully quiet the mind in western society. Monks spend years in isolation meditating to achieve this state of mind.
I spent good time in solitude but first time I felt it I was still in the corporate world/high vibrational city. So I think with the right balance you can get there. Shouldn’t be 24/7 of course, but at least at home and when doing personal activities.
