OK. This Oldman, is whooped. Blocks cut, transported and some split. https://image.nostr.build/101fabc32ea112805e93ad409d61de3e96a1d753ebdae504dd57049f19425062.jpg
Thanks. I'm definitely feeling it now.
The large blocks are Douglas Fir, believe me it has plenty of knots. The smaller stuff is mostly Lodgepole Pine, the stem is pretty much knot free, until close to the top of the tree. Now it's my turn to be jelly, I'd love to be able to get my hands on some Red Oak, Cherry or Elm.

Elm is much easier to spit within the first 2 weeks after felling, while it's still green. After that it gets to be a real bitch, the dryer it gets. If your home is a target, why haven't you dropped them? I'd burn that white pine in my stove. lol I don't care if it burns and it's, it ships!

Makes sense now. I didn't realize that you're in an urban setting. It is definitely spendy to have to hire a tree service.

I'll cross my fingers for you. Maybe one day your wife will come around to the idea. I've lived in cities a few times, doesnt last long and then I'm back in Wyoming with my beautiful mountains. 😂 That'd really suck, having to pay to park.
