In the end, I hope Ross Ulbricht is freed soon. Not because he's innocent -- he's guilty of some rather cold-blooded stuff, like murder for hire, in my view -- but because he's already served enough time. We have a terrible tendency in this country to want to "make an example" out of people without considering what is just for the individual, and the end-result is that nobody's really deterred from anything.
