There was a guy on the /lit/ board of 4chan years ago (around 2012–2014) who wrote piles and piles of books, printed them, learned to draw, and made a unique cover for each volume of his own saga. When asked if he would ever release them, he said he didn’t want to share them with the world, he made them for himself and was also afraid of being judged. He shared a screenshot showing one of the walls in his house, filled from floor to ceiling with the volumes he had written.
