What’s the most solid research out there to show that red meat 🥩 is safe to eat daily and not a harm to your health? I hear this claim made but there are decades of research saying that it’s bad. I’d like to believe the claims and am ready to give carnivore diet a try but am getting resistance from loved ones because we have heart attacks in our family history. Podcast interviews and YouTube videos aren’t enough. Links to studies super helpful. nostr:npub1508rk9udkqcvt0wdm5d20jdfzflvk9l3da764awcy95xpd6c357qkrtwu3 nostr:npub1qqvt0m3nlvjnssmrn33w9yh7cuq2dx5nkz8wxax9hk5hrjdnj4jqz8cn3w #carnivore #proofofsteak #asknostr
Thank you. Your podcast is what finally got me to look at this seriously. I’m really enjoying it. Keep doing your thing if you like making it! Does have to be red meat all the time? How about chicken and eggs some days? I like the idea of red meat but might have to make a compromise in the meantime, ya know?
Definitely get that. When you look at what’s right in front of you, go back to basics, it seems so simple. We evolved this way. In recent times we tried to completely change our diet and are seeing the negative consequences of it. In my mind it all clicks, I’m hoping to find more empirical evidence rather than anecdotal evidence of personal testimonials. That said, all these testimonials are very encouraging. Now does it have to be red meat all the time? How about chicken and eggs some days? I like the idea of red meat but might have to make a compromise in the meantime, ya know?
That paper is fascinating. No tooth cavities until 15,000 years ago when plants became regular part of diet.
Making it a temporary commitment is a good idea. I’m planning to do a 30 day soon. Then I’d like to see if I can go for months.
That U shaped chart says a lot. Looks like the “safe” range if you will is around 110-190. Then the jump goes up on both sides. Lowest risk 120-160.
