Water doesn't satiate. It merely distracts. Wonder if this will change in the coming days. #WaterFast
I'm doing a 6 day water only fast, so more like a famine.
I think I'm on my 7th cup today. On a regular day, I don't really keep track. I'm usually sipping from a big water flask that I refill.

Have you ever fasted more than a couoek days before?
No, the longest I've gone is 24 hours, and I'm at 22 hours now. The interesting thing so far is that the hunger feels like a baby crying for attention rather than for food.
Day 3-4 transition is super hard. If you're committed to 6, plan to sequester yourself away from anything resembling edible around that time (things I wish I'd known prior) 😂🫂 best of luck, and LISTEN TO YOUR BODY.
That pizza emoji is looking pretty good 😆
Thanks for the advice 🫂🫡
I don't go for walks very often. I work out with weights and kempo often, but I'm not doing either right now. Walks sound like a great idea. I was wondering whether it would help, but walking in a starved state makes a lot of sense evolutionarily.
Yeah, even though I'll only eat two times a day usually nowadays. I've cut down on snacking almost entirely.
I'm out and about 🫡 https://i.nostr.build/6Pkn.jpg#m=image%2Fjpeg&dim=2040x1536&blurhash=%237Aw0O01D%25%3FGE1IV%25MWBIp00xa-%3ANGxuxaM%7BjaoL56%3FGozD*s%3AbHRjogxa%7EpIpD%25-%3BR*j%40t7R*WBIAWBx%5BWURjaeWBf5f6bvobkDIVxubIkBt7R*R-ogM%7B%252aeRjafbFkC&x=19b6aeb13c7a7b77f991667f9bb6642dafbe182c2971c51d6a289d008f0206e3
I've been a little all over the place with the times I eat just because I've made so many changes to my diet in the past year, it's still leveling out. But on a typical day, it is pretty similar to your schedule.
It's a health challenge, a detox, etc. not for religious reasons per se, but it helps a lot with meditation and impulse control. This is the first time I'm going for more than a day.
So much. A significant portion of my day is usually occupied with food.
