I went back to 1993 and played a little bit of a MUD (Multi-User Dimension) called Ancient Anguish. Text-based like the old ZORK games. My point is that I think it's possible to interact with a MUD through nostr. Why? I don't know but if a scrabble game can be built on nostr (and it already has been), then a Mud could be too . . . I think. If I could code myself out of a wet paper bag with holes in it I'd start building it but I suck at coding. It'd be kinda cool to have a back and forth with a MUD nostr pubkey that looked like this: "> w You are in a lush, fragrant forest of pines. The trees are very densely packed here, and every once in a while a crisp, needled branch stings your cheek as you brush past it. A deep forest stretches to the east and south. Obvious directions are: north, east, south, west. A giant owl." And hitpoints? Satoshis. "> kill owl You missed. > You missed. HP: 44 SP: 25 Giant owl pounded your body heartlessly. You missed. Giant owl missed you. You missed. HP: 41 SP: 25 Giant owl clubbed your head. You missed. HP: 39 SP: 25 Giant owl pummelled your body. You missed. HP: 36 SP: 25 Giant owl clubbed your body." Maybe I've just had one glass of wine more than I should've but nostr is making ideas bubble in my brain. Someone please tell me that this can't work and even if it could no one would care so I can stop thinking about the whole thing. Good Night and Pura Vida my dear Nostriches!
Well, I see this as something along nostr's path. #[2]

Not exactly same, but I am thinking of turning stories.hitchhikersguidethroughthemetaverse.info into something like this. It is already is a Text based RPG. I’ve also added the capability to subscribe using nostr public addresses. Next step is to add tracking on how many people selected option A vs B and show stats to users. People would need to login to the website using their keys though. I’m still going through how I can make it work. It is ofcourse all open source, with the repo here: https://gitlab.com/hgttm/iamnotme I have to update the readme and stuff. But I’m all ears for any help. Or any new features.
