If there's one thing Elden Ring did it super right is Torrent. the problem is that many games try to have realistic horse mounting, and it becomes sluggish
And most of time is pointless too, like in Oblivion with +85 SPD (and you get that easy) you're faster than any horse. Or like in TW3 where the only point in mounting horse outside races is lazyness of going somewhere, you place the marker and hold X button and the horse kinda auto pilot there for you.
