#noderunners If you were able to convince a <insert any business here> to accept bitcoin. They install nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 Start an embedded node. They setup their POS. Etc. What is a good recommendation here that makes since. Get liquidity from LSP? Would you open a channel to that node and route all their traffic from your node? How do you calculate channel size for them? Based on daily expected transaction? How does this work, what am I not thinking about. Thanks.
Yeah, being their LSP makes the most sense to me as well. They can have my contact info, I’ll answer any questions they might have if they dry up on inbound liquidity etc. I don’t think there is any business at this stage who will be cycling huge amount of sats anyway. If they were able to do 200K sats a week that would be amazing. If they actually started to have heavy traffic, a more robust solution will be needed for sure. Is it safe to assume opening a channel to their embedded node is easy to manage? Since their node will go offline often I guess.
I think that’s the best way to go. They will also learn as they grow.
For sure. I mean, I hope I am able to convince any of the food trucks that come to my neighborhood. If any of them say yes. That would be amazing.
Agreed. I don’t want to be the one who makes them hate Bitcoin 😅
Oh that would be great!
